She rushed to school with her bag flying behind her. When finally getting to the school she had to stop for a moment to catch her breath. Ayano then walked in to find her class.

Yutaka let out a sigh of relief when she saw Konata ready to go. Just 15 more minutes until her first class stared. A funny feeling began to make it's way into Yutaka's stomach. The thought of being late made her just a little sick again. 'Hopefully that nice girl I met will be in my class this year.'

Kagami felt the blood rushing to her head, she knew Konata too well. "That fool. She can't ever get her act together can she?" Looking at her sister she realized just how similar her and Konata were. She facepalmed at this, so much fail and it was only the first day. "Oh, it looks like we made it here. Let's go check our classes."

Miyuki showed Minami to her first class then walked over to her own. It looked like it was going to be her, Konata, and Tsukasa in one class and Kagami in another. The four of them just never seemed to be in the same class.

Konata waved a peace sign to Yu-chan. "Don't worry," she said simply. "Just tell them you have a cousin who is a senior," she said, smirking, and giving an evil grin.
She entered her own class.
"Kuroi-sensei!" Konata cheered, walking to the front of the classroom. "I'm surprised you weren't online last night."

Tsukasa laughed a bit. "If you dislike her so much, why do you hang out with her?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Thank you," she said to Miyuki, as she left.
She sighed, and sat down at her desk, placing her bag on her desk. She looked around at her classmates. Some of them looked a bit familiar from the previous middle school years; but only a few.

"But, oneechan you didn't show me my class.." Yutaka poked her index fingers together nervously. She looked around to see if she could ask anyone for help. Everyone was much taller than her and looked so intimidating. 'M-Maybe I should just check every class.. Not this one... Or that one.. Oh my! It can't be this one.' Yutaka had just about given up until she walked into a class and found someone familiar. "Oh Minami-chan!" She waved and walked over to the taller girl.

Kagami felt her cheeks getting warmer as she heard that question. "Well it's not that I don't like her she's just very frustrating is all. Oh here this is your class Tsukasa." She quickly changed the subject before anything else could be asked.

Miyuki noticed Konata as she made her entrance. "Oh good morning Konata. Did you enjoy your summer break?"

"Miyuki-chan!" Konata said. "Yo. It was greeeaaat. Thanks for letting me borrow your homework by the way." She cocked her head to the side when she saw Tsukasa and Kagami. She waved slightly. "Don't you have a different class than us?" she teased Kagami.

"I'm so glad we're in the same class. I was worried I wouldn't see you again." Yutaka smiled at her friend. "Oh I almost forgot." Yutaka dug through her pockets in search of something. She pulled out a white handkerchief. "Here, I made sure to take it this morning so I could return it to you."

Konata laughed. "Ho ho ho! You know I'm only kidding," she said, with the wave of her hand. "Besides--if you were in our class, who would I borrow notes from?"
Not waiting for a reply, Konata stated, "Are you coming with me to Gamers after school?"

Minami took the handkerchief in her hand. "I thought I wouldn't see you, as well, so I intended for you to keep it." She put it in her pocket. "But thank you very much for returning it. I am glad we are in the same class."

Kagami sighed, as annoying as Konata was she was still her friend. Her otaku personality was what made her so likable, at least to Kagami. "Of course, I already canceled that thing with Misao and Ayano so I could go with you. See you after class then." Kagami waved and left the classroom.

Kagami waved good bye to Ayano and Misao apologizing for not eating lunch with them. She took her lunch box and walked over to Konata's class once again. "Hey." The three had already pushed some desks together and began to unpack their lunches. Kagami pulled up a chair and sat with them.

Misao sat at a desk with Ayano and ate her lunch not talking much. "It's a lot quieter without Hiragii isn't it Ayano?"

Konata smirked. "Doesn't this show you something? Kagami has no friends in her class." She bit on the tip of her chocolate cornet.
Minami sighed, using her chopsticks to pick up a bit of rice. "How do you like the school so far?" she asked Yuu-chan.
