"To be honest I'm really not sure." said Hannah. "I help my mom and grandma a lot when we go up to the surface for half the year. I've grown a few flowers and can do some healing but other than that I'm not really certain. Both my parents say that I have a whole lot more power in me and that with the right training I could find new powers."

Rachel gave Hannah a half smile. "Then you are here to learn the extent of your powers then? I bet it's going to be something amazing. Something so great it'll almost make me jealous, and I'm not the jealous type." She waited for Everett to continue, looking at the clock to see how much longer they had to wait until the class started.

"Strength" Everett answered, surprised he was even being asked by her. He shrugged, it would be nice to have a whole list of things he could do, but he was content with what he had for now.

The bell at long last finally rang and a dryad woman walked into the room. She had long green hair and tanned skin. "Okay everyone sit down class is in session." She had a soft and almost sad face. "She must be a willow dryad." Hannah muttered to herself.

Rachel sat up in her seat, staring ahead at the teacher. Willow dryad, perhaps. She didn't know but about the land creatures, but she was exellent at tell what anything to do with water is. Perhaps she could extend her knowledge while here. "Why is she sad?" Rachel asked softly to Hannah.

"Weeping willow dryads are always sad." whispered Hannah. "And even when they're not they act like it because of the tree they represent. You can usually tell what kind of naiad or dyad or nymph by its appearance and attitude." Hannah shuddered at the memory of an arrogant oak tree dryad. Nothing like Everett but still very rude.

Rachel nodded and leaned back in her chair. "So which dryad would you be like? Or me?" Her gaze flittered upward to the teacher once more, wishing that Weeping Willows weren't so sad. It almost made her want to be sad or sympathetic to the poor woman. She briefly wondered who Everett would be, something arrogant and selfish no doubt.

"Well you would probably be a palm. And Everett would likely be an oak." Said Hannah quietly. "Alright every that's enough!" said the teacher. "For starters I'd like you to take a sheet of paper and write down what you already know about yourself, your parents, your parents powers and your powers."

Rachel jumped up from her seat as they teacher yelled. How did someone sad raise their voice like that? Taking out a notebook, she started to write. Alittle about herself, alittle about her parents and their powers, and all she knew about her powers. Finished, she almost laughed at the words before her. Most of the words were pushed against each other, like the waves in the ocean did. It wasn't at all nice, but still readable.
